Allen SP400C

Now Available with a Turbo-Charged Diesel Engine!

The new Super Pro 400C Riding Trowel is one of the latest models of riding trowels from Allen Engineering. The engineers at Allen took all of the features of our most popular selling riding trowel and have made it better. Improvements include a better “line of sight” for increased visibility and a more ergonomically designed cockpit for operator comfort. Operators can adjust not only the seat but also the arm rests to their liking. The newly designed machine is lighter and more responsive due to the larger crossheads and better weight balance.

Standard features include a newly located cruise control lever, an electric powered spray system, a built in cup holder, and a lifting bridle for loading and unloading. For easier maintenance, the machine features removable front and rear screen panels. The new machine can be equipped with either a 38HP liquid-cooled diesel engine or a 44HP turbo charged liquid-cooled diesel engine from Kubota. Either motor provides plenty of torque for panning floors tightly. The new five bladed rotor is driven by a super heavy duty transmission, allowing the power to be delivered where it is needed. While under a load, the rotor speed consistently turns 145 rpms. As one can see, the engineers at Allen are always making improve-ments to deliver what today’s concrete finishers need.
