Introducing Allen Engineering’s completely new Hydra-Drive Series of Riding Trowels!
Hydra-Drive (HD) Series trowels feature all hydraulic power steering and drive eliminating the need for manual levers, clutches, or mechanical gear boxes! Made with new millenium technology, these Allen® Trowels are designed to satisfy the most demanding concrete contractors.
The HD550 is Allen’s very first Hydra-Drive trowel. This rider features 60 inch diameter rotors driven by two radial piston hydraulic motors powered by a 87HP Turbo-Charged Kubota Diesel Engine. The 550 incorporates Allen’s “stretched” frame with 18 in spacing between the pans. This stretched frame helps achieve higher F#s by reducing ridging on the first pan pass and this feature also increases productivity. Designed with the finisher in mind from the blades up, the HD550 has many exciting features. |
